Threadless, an online artists' community based in Chicago, is well known for their creative T-shirt designs, among other things. (My brother got me a Threadless T-shirt a couple years ago, and I love it!) You can peruse some of their many designs at their website.
If you are of an artistic bent and a Sherlockian, or if you've just always dreamed of having your own graphic design on a T-shirt, then take a look at the contest that's being hosted by Threadless.
The Assignment: to design a T-shirt based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous character. As it says on the Sherlock Holmes T-Shirt Contest page: "So, to crack the case of the perfect tee, read between the lines! It's elemen-tee, my dear, Watson." The game is afoot...or in this case, a torso.
And if you happen to be Jerry Margolin, we imagine there's a treasure trove of artists and original art to pursue.
