I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere will no longer be active on Twitter.
The site has devolved in terms of usability and reach, and the owner has made recent statements and decisions that cross an ethical line for us.
It pains us, as we first alerted our readers to it in March 2007 and began compiling lists of other Sherlockians on Twitter in November 2009.
We co-hosted our first #SherlockPBS Twitter chat in October 2010, followed by others in May 2012 and January 2014.
We invented the #BSIWeekend hashtag to help connect the online Sherlockians with those in New York City for the annual January festivities.
We auto-posted our latest episodes and blog posts every time we produced new ones.
Over the course of that decade and a half, we amassed some 10,000 followers.
But now it's time to say goodbye.
We'll be spending most of our time on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. For the most up-to-date listing of where to find us, please see our Linktree site.
And of course, be sure you're following Trifles and I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere wherever you get podcasts.
