It's that time of year, when Sherlockians and Holmesians across the globe wish each other a Canonical holiday greeting that still holds its weight today, amidst the politically correct phrases that are uttered. As a reminder, we take the quote from 'The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle,' which opened thusly: <blockquote>I had called upon my friend Sherlock Holrnes upon the second morning after Christmas, with the intention of wishing him the compliments of the season. </blockquote> And as we near Christmas, our thoughts naturally gravitate toward The Baker Street Journal Christmas Annual, which for 2005 is titled "Once a Week in Baker Street: the Boucher-Green Years." Baker Street Irregular H.
