"compliments of the season" [BLUE]

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to our faithful readers, listeners and friends.

We recently had an opportunity to listen to an old episode of I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere — specifically, Episode 49: I'll Have a Blue Christmas. It's a favorite for a number of reasons: a deep discussion of the story, a reading of a Christopher Morley essay, and a grand conversation between Scott and Burt. Despite originally airing four years ago, the episode still holds together and is a wonderful way to spend your holiday.

Join us as we play six degrees of Middlemass; think along with us as we wade our way through a number of other film and television productions; and revel in Morley's observation about the varying colors of Holmes's dressing gown: "That is what fiction exists for: to make delightful the impossible and the unbelieved."

There's so much to enjoy about this episode. But perhaps we're biased. Won't you let us know what you think?
