"this enormously valuable prize" [SIXN]
While most of the public was aware of or watched the 2019 Academy Awards last night, there was another Hollywood celebration of film happening. We of course refer to the Golden Raspberry Awards, or the Razzies.
Recently, we reported on the nominees, which included an usually large representation of Sherlock Holmes-related nominees. Well, the results are in, and fear not, fellow Sherlock Holmes fan — there's reason to celebrate!
However, before we move on to the Razzies, it's spending some time with the Oscars.
The Academy Awards
The role of Sherlock Holmes is much more complex and nuanced than the public typically understands. This means that actors need to turn in more than a two-dimensional performance.
