Elements of gothic intrigue like voodoo, a possible vampire, a family curse, and a spectral hound come to mind.</p><p>So when Christian Klaver looked at the intersection of his interests in sci-fi, fantasy, Sherlock Holmes, and writing, it was only natural to find some existing and contemporary examples and bring them to life.
