As I understand it, the ACD@35 conference this past weekend was a remarkable success. I have heard very good things about the program, in particular about the caliber of speakers present.

To keep the celebration going, the Toronto Public library has just announed a special exhibition that has been mounted. A Case of Considerable Interest will display items from from the Conan Doyle Collection, including Sherlock Holmes-related books, Doyle's other works, and a section on the Canadian connection.

The exhibition runs until January 7, 2007. If you're up there, or if you visit the site, make sure you get in touch with Peggy Perdue, the librarian for the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection at the TPL.
